Each walk has instructions on how to get to the starting
point and almost all have a sketch map to show its route. Links to the other parts of this list are
given below:
(A) Jalan Tun Sardon East (north side destinations)
These walks start from a small turning near the lower end
of Jalan Tun Sardon
(B-D, I) Paya Terubong
These walks start mainly from the summit of the Paya
Terubong - Relau Road, but also from Paya Terubong Village and the Hokkien
Cemetery
(E-F) Air Itam (Dam)
These walks can be started from Air Itam itself but most
(except F) can also be started from the Air
Itam Dam
Penang Hill
(G-H) Hill Railway Road Area
Others

I strongly recommend using buses to get to the starting points and back
from the end of these walks.
I have written a short guide
to Penang's Buses (updated 6th October 2022) for hikers although directions are included in
individual hikes.
