Rejoagung, Krebet and Candi are part of PT PG Rajawali I which is part of the PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia group which also controls PT PG Rajawali II (Cirebon). Kebonagung and Trangkil are owned by PT Kebon Agung, ultimately owned by Bank Indonesia, Pakis and Madukismo being separately owned. In general, while ownership could be traced back to the government, they enjoyed a fair degree of devolved operational independence compared to the formally nationalised mills. In practical terms for visitors, this made them much more accessible for casual visits. |
