picture of 2525 at the Mid Suffolk Light Railway, 16th November 2015 with that at MTVS
in France, on 7th November 2015 with the
Russian entry, on 19th April 2015 with a
picture of Cockerill 2342 at Entroncamento and 17th June 2013 with a
picture of Cockerill 2435.
While doing this research, a number of oddballs turned up
including these Cockerill shunting locomotives with a vertical boiler which
is enclosed within the cab. They are by no stretch of the imagination steam tram locomotives but they
are curiosities which most serious students of the subject would find
interesting, hence their inclusion on this separate page. Although Cockerill
was the major builder, others got into the act including Cail and Five
Lilles (http://www.irsociety.co.uk/Archives/8/french_vertical_boilered.htm).
