This is from the series of romantic "famous expresses" postcards issued in the Edwardian era by Raphael Tuck. It shows a typical Egyprian State Railways double-framed 4-4-0 of the era on the Cairo-Alexandria route. The locomotive is probably from the earlier series built by Neilson in 1900-01.
