The 29 class 2-8-2 built by North British were similar to the Nigerian 'River Class' and mainly worked in Kenya. 2910 'Galla' was on shed in Mombasa in January 1968. Collectively the 29, 30 and 31 classes were known as 'Tribals' and carried appropriate names. (BR)
