The most noticeable animal in Eritrea is the camel, both semi-wild and domesticated. Ideal for the terrain, it is common to see 'camel trains' from the adjacent 'railway train'. This one just 'happened' to pose for the enthusiasts while the train was stopped at Damas on 27th November 2002. (RD)
