For a week in November 2002, I joined a group from the Locomotive Club of Great Britain as the (paying) guest of the railway. Nothing was too much for the staff and the three working Mallets especially (of which 442.54 and 442.59 are seen here) were used to excellent photographic effect to reproduce some of the scenes which only a privileged few enthusiasts had been able to see for real more than 30 years ago.
