A Train in the Ambarawa Military Museum

Ambarawa was a military town in Dutch times and the Indonesian military are still strongly represented here. There is a small museum in the town centre which includes a Mustang and this train which is meant to symbolise the role of the railways in the fight for independence.

This is the train with appropriate graffiti! B2501 is sister loco to the active B2502 and B2503. Coach CR 62-1 was designed for 54 persons. (NB 2001)
