Tiger Steam - Thailand

Most of the older locomotives in the country were supplied from Europe, although none survived to the final days of steam. A number are preserved at sites around the country. Well regarded Hanomag Pacific 261 is parked outside the station at Nakhon Ratchasima, and proved to be a useful prop for the local monkey man/photographer on 20th June 1971. (BR)
