Tiger Steam - Thailand

The Second World War had a significant effect on locomotive policy. Nearly 70 'MacArthur' 2-8-2s worked in the country, 5 were even sent on to Cambodia. They were hardly a 'quality product' but they kept the trains running. 422 was photographed at Bang Sue on 8th May 1971. (BR)
