Tiger Steam - Thailand

340, preserved at Chiengmai in April 1975, was a 2-8-0 which started life on the Rhätische Bahn in Switzerland. Built between 1907 and 1915 they were displaced by electrification and arrived in Thailand in 1926. Despite a small tender and a firebox built for coal and not wood they were a successful purchase.
