Now this really was absolute beginner’s luck in August 1979. Ross arrived at the mill around mid-day to find a nearby field being cut and 11 handling the train. Despite the cloudy weather, Sumberharjo couldn’t have looked better as a future prospect for daylight trains... if only! (RS)
