A year later and on 28th July 1994, the bagasse is loose which will take even longer to load up. A late start from the mill will mean that it will be late afternoon before the cane is loaded and the second shift will then definitely bring their train in after dark. Meanwhile much of the cane was now arriving by road. (RD)
