Purwodadi Sugar Mill

The diminutive Anjasmoro was always a shunt engine at Purwodadi and Ross took this photo in August 1979. Exactly what advantage a 2-4-0-wheel arrangement would have with respect to a shunt engine is hard to discern. The smokebox seal on the steam exhaust pipe has clearly been giving some cause for concern. (RS)
