'Queen' of the fleet was DB 0-8-0T 1 (194/1929) delivered here new. This was one of two, the largest such locomotive delivered to Java, with piston valves (but not superheated) and rated at 100 HP (the mill thinks 120 HP). On 24th July 1996 it was a long time since it had burned oil, but the tanks were still in place. (RD)
