Gondang Baru Sugar Mill Gallery

Cape gauge 'Simbah' was a Backer and Rueb (Breda) tram locomotive (65/1890) with a replacement OK boiler (11531/1927) fitted when it was sold off by the Oost-Java Stoomtram Maatschappij to Tasikmadu, becoming VIII. It came to Gondang Baru many years ago and was photographed on 24th August 1983. (RD)
