Safari Steam North

However, the actual steam survivor was this much older 2-6-0T (not a 2-6-2T as stated in 'Steam in Africa'). Built by Société Alsacienne de Constructions Mécaniques, Belfort as their 4451/1893. Formerly of the CF Digoin-Etang, it was used for shunting at the factory. (JW)
