The closure of the 2ft 6in (762mm) gauge Sierra Leone Railway is much regretted by enthusiasts. On 20th November 1967, Jeremy Wiseman found 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 Garratt 64, a Hunslet 2-6-2T and a Bagnall 4-8-0 on shed at Freetown. (JW)
