This is a scene from the early 1900s at Aro on the 3ft 6in (1067mm) gauge Lagos Government Railway, before unification into one Nigerian system. The coaches are original equipment, the locomotive is a Hunslet 0-6-0T from a series built between 1896 and 1911. (CW1 Collection)
