French controlled Morocco built its first railways as military lines of 600mm gauge from before the First World War. This splendid machine is one of a series of 2-6-6-0 Mallets built by Decauville in 1912 and probably the largest equipment they built for this gauge. It was posted from a prisoner of war camp there in 1915. (CW1 Collection)
