Safari Steam North

The French colonial metre gauge system in the Ivory Coast ultimately was to stretch 800km from Abijan on the coast north to Upper Volta. The larger loco is probably a Corpet-Louvet 0-6-0T from the early 1900s when the railway commenced. The other is a Decauville 0-4-0T, possibly of 600mm gauge. Posted in 1910. (CW1 Collection)
