Safari Steam North

452 was one of nine 4-6-4T built by Nasmyth Wilson and Robert Stephenson. This was one of the former (1494/1927) and was shunting at Ebute Metta on 21st November 1963. A photograph of this locomotive as delivered appears in 'Steam in Africa'. (JW)
