Some of the most handsome locomotives supplied to Nigeria were ten Pacifics built by Nasmyth Wilson between 1926 and 1928 for express passenger services. 405, (1471/1926), 'Alaka of Abeokuta' was appropriately at Abeokuta on 22nd November 1963. (JW)
