Kumasi was at the apex of the triangle formed by lines from Sekondi and Accra and the other (more recent) line joining these two places. It was quite a surprise to find 4-6-0 185 'Sir Frederick Hodgson' shunting here on 3rd April 1976 as a recent visitor had reported all these rather venerable locomotives out of use. (MC)
