Safari Steam North

SS Rusinga was built by Bow, McLachlan of Paisley, Scotland in 1913 for service with passengers and cargo on Lake Victoria. Burnt out in a serious fire in 1927, she was returned to service and worked alongside SS Usoga. Converted to a training ship in 1962, she was scrapped in 1966. (TB Collection)
