Raj Steam - Pakistan Narrow Gauge

The three 760mm (2'6") narrow gauge railways in (West) Pakistan which survived into the 1970s and 1980s were all lightly trafficked with infrequent services, their survival being miraculous. All were built for strategic purposes by the North Western Railway (NWR) in areas to the west of the Indus river where the extra expense in providing broad gauge lines could not be justified. As such enthusiasts were denied full access in some cases for security reasons. I never got here and I am extremely grateful to those who did and made their collections available.
