Raj Steam - South Central Railway Gallery

YD 30253 (Bagnall 1942) was not a true YD although its design was based on it. Larger, with a round topped firebox, it had been intended for a South American railway but was requisitioned for the Indian War Department. It was at Donakonda on 8th November 1979, the other, 30289, was allocated here too. (PM)
