B17 Tram Engine

The best place to see a B17 at work was on the Kediti - Pare branch. On 4th May 1973, B1706 takes the early morning eastbound train round the curve at the point where the railway meets the main road between the towns after taking the long way round past the sugar mill at Pesantren. (RG collection)
