On paper, Mayang went through a large number of Luttermöllers over the years. In practice, they obtained boiler after boiler off the dump at Dolok Ilir and put it on the same chassis. 38 had succeeded 30 and 57 when it was photographed on the tankers in July 1992. (RD)
