Steam Survivors in Togo

Mike Cledining was in Lome in October 2006. He reports: The two Indian YPs (2684, 2257) previously reported as shipped here by Henry Posner III in late 2000 remain in the shed/workshop next to the disused station in Lome, apparently unmoved since arrival. The 2-8-2 reported as #106 (Haine St. Pierre) continues to moulder away amid the vegetation just outside the shed. A few railway staff still work around the station/shed and were happy to show this visitor around.
