Sao Joao del Rey

One of the best known railways in Brazil is the Sao Joao del Rey, 762mm gauge line with a Baldwin 280, (52256/1919). Currently this line is operated by Ferroovia Centro Atlantica for Rede Ferroviaria Federal, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays, linking Sao Joao del Rey to Tiradentes. The other serviceable steam locomotive is a Baldwin 4-6-0 (38010/1912).
