By common consent, the Japanese designed 2-8-2s and 4-6-2s were the most successful designs here. Wartime Pacific 287 drifts along with an afternoon local train at Ti Wang on the Trang branch on 10th July 1971. In the background is a rubber estate which makes this area reminiscent of my then home, Malaysia. (BR)
