Tiger Steam - Thailand

The spirit of steam on the Rod Fai Luang (Royal State Railway, RSR, latterly Rod Fai Thai) personified. War time Japanese built Mikado 2-8-2 371 leaves Haadyai for Padang Besar on the Malaysian border with a mixed train, early on a May morning in 1975. Behind, a later Mikado is about to come off the shed yard. (RD)
