Tiger Steam - Thailand

Two 600mm gauge forestry lines were built about 140km north-east of Bangkok at Sung Noen and Hua Wei to provide firewood for steam locomotives; both are long closed. Hudswell Clarke 0-6-2WT 9 was delivered as an 0-6-0WT, and has found a final resting place at Chumphon where it was photographed on 6th June 1971. (BR)
