Lampang Sugar Mill is at Kokha in
northern Thailand. In common with the other industrial systems shown
here it operated a 750mm gauge system and was still very active with
steam when Basil Roberts visited it in 1971 and 1972. However, this
did not last and within a short time several of the locomotives had
found their way into preservation as can be seen.
The two small diesels seen at
Chonburi sugar mill may be the same two diesels which are known to
have come here from the Nongchak branch of the Srimaharacha Timber
Company.
