Tiger Steam - Thailand

Other locomotives appeared during the war, the most numerous of which were the Japanese C56 2-6-0s. Built for the 3ft 6in (1067mm) gauge there, they were fitted with extra wide tyres so they could run on the metre gauge. 737 was working at Kanchanaburi on the Kwai line in late 1971. (BR)
