Tiger Steam - Thailand

601 was a large 1600HP diesel supplied by Frichs of Denmark in 1932. It was, in effect, a double version of six 2-Do-2 locomotives delivered by that company in 1931. 556 from that series is in the Bangkok Transport Museum and 601 photographed at Bang Sue in March 1972 has also been kept. (BR)
