Tiger Steam - Malaysia

The island of Penang is a traditional stopping off point for travellers going north. The appropriately named ferry 'Pulau Pinang' crosses from Butterworth on 27th November 1978. Its docking point is just a few metres from the island's railway station - a booking office with no trains! (RD)
