At Balla Balla (Mbalabala) trains would stop for water and reforming before the major climb on the branch. Having been seen earlier further down the branch, 16A 611, pauses for breath on 27th June 1987. It was a very good day photographically as the record on this CD-ROM shows! (BA1)
