While it had always been possible to sit and listen to Garratts pounding past the Baobab Hotel, only in later years was a clearing made which allowed you to observe them too. A 15A pounds past on train 29 on 25th July 1991. Only the terrace of the Victoria Falls Hotel offered a more refined viewing point than this. (BA1)
