The next few pictures were taken in August 1985 and clearly show the extent of the rebuilds undertaken here. Unfortunately, maintenance standards on the railway were declining so all the good work did not last long. This shows the frames of 14A 2-6-2 + 2-6-2 Garratt 511. (BA2)
