One of the 15Es heads out of Bulawayo with a freight for Gwelo in May 1973, which seemed to be one of their regular duties. They did not last long, all were scrapped in July 1973. It is possible that their rotary cam poppet valves which were unique in the country may have led to their demise. (DM)
