Safari Steam North

The 11 class 2-6-2T were the standard lightweight shunting locomotive in East Africa, found in all three countries. They were variously built by Vulcan Foundry, Hunslet and Bagnall. In Uganda, 1129 was based at Jinja in January 1968. (BR)
