Safari Steam North

The line from Tanga to Moshi in the shadow of Kilimanjaro was started as part of the original German East Africa Railway. However, with the completion of the link to Voi in Kenya in 1924, it effectively became an offshoot of the Uganda (later Kenya-Uganda) Railway. 5509 is at Moshi in 1968. (BR)
