Safari Steam North

The active large North British 4-8-2s were allocated to Kosti, but 521 was at Sennar shed on 14th September 1981 after working a TEFS special. Most of the southern branches are of relatively recent construction - hence the concrete water tower which probably dates from the post-Second World War expansion. (BA2)
