Safari Steam North

Built 1908-13, this was the last pre-1914 line in the former German colony of Togo. The locomotive is one of five standard colonial O and K 2-8-0Ts supplied in 1909. The French were given a partial mandate of the parts of Togo with railways, which may explain why the railway later bought more German 2-8-0Ts. (CW1 Collection)
