Safari Steam North

The dubious privilege of being the last working steam locomotive in Morocco fell to this Henschel 0-6-0T (26549/1942). Originally ordered for China, it was sent to France for assembly in 1945 and ran as SNCF 030TX-1 before transfer to Morocco. On 22nd May 1980, it was parked out of use in a siding at Taza. (JW)
