Safari Steam North

This time it is 'Afra 1' running through the streets of Melilla. This railway ran from the lead mines at Monte Afra in the Rif mountains. This picture was used reversed in 'Steam in Africa', the lack of a reversing lever (as seen in the next photograph) confirming that this is the correct way round! (JW)
