Once the British monopoly was broken, the first beneficiaries were the Canadians. The 92 class 1-Co-Co-1 arrived in 1971 and packed a third more power than the 87s in less weight. However, 9202 on shed at Nairobi in February 1980, like the rest of the class, was a big disappointment. (RD) |
