On 1st December 1979, David Debenham was travelling by car to Mombasa from Nairobi so I went along for the ride on the off chance of finding active steam at Voi. In fact all we found was 3120 at Ndi working an engineer's train. The good news was we managed to arrange a trip with 6013 for two weeks later. (RD)
